Chinese company plans $1.2bn project to process Mozambican coal for export to Brazil

The construction of a Chinese-owned project to produce coking coal from lower-value thermal coal and export it to Brazil could start in Nacala in the second half of this year, the company’s CEO said today at a ceremony in Maputo.
