Rains and peace ease Mozambique hunger


The price of grain in central Mozambique fell as much as 50% in April, a hunger monitoring group said this week, as improved rainfall marked an effective end to a two-year drought in the region, and Mozambique’s political factions agreed a truce that should hold at least to the end of this year.
