Rwandan military stationed in the town of Mocímboa da Praia, in Mozambique’s northern province of Cabo Delgado, have built a new market, rehabilitated a damaged primary school, and donated refrigeration equipment to local fishermen over the last month — increasing their popularity with the local population, but provoking discontent among the Mozambican security and defence forces stationed alongside them.
