Good afternoon. The killing of a member of the municipal assembly of the city of Quelimane (see below) has thrown up some disturbing issues. Whether and why the victim was murdered remains unknown, but in the meantime there has been speculation on social media that she was killed because someone wanted her assembly seat, and the pay that comes with it.
